Automotive & EV Parts & Components — BOXSTK
Machined brackets, housings, shafts and charging-system hardware with lot traceability.
Automotive and EV supply chains put as much weight on documentation and consistency as on the part itself. We supply custom metal components — machined brackets and housings, forged shafts, cast manifolds and precision fasteners — with controlled process routes, first-article approval and lot-level traceability.
For prototype and low-volume programmes we machine from billet, which avoids tooling and allows design changes between builds. Once the design is frozen and volumes rise, we can move the same part to casting or forging and reduce unit cost. The drawing, inspection plan and material specification stay consistent across both routes.
What These Components Have to Survive
- PPAP / first-article documentation and approval before series production.
- Material traceability from heat number to finished carton.
- Capability studies on safety-critical characteristics where specified by the buyer.
- Corrosion and temperature cycling resistance for under-hood and exterior hardware.
- Revision control — no silent substitution of material or finish between batches.
Typical Parts We Supply
CNC machined sensor and motor brackets, aluminum housings and heat-sink components, forged driveline shafts and flanges, cast pump and valve bodies, brass connectors for thermal management, and stainless fasteners.
Material, Finish & Documentation
Typical materials are 6061-T6 / 7075 aluminum, 40Cr and 42CrMo alloy steel, 304 / 316 stainless and low-lead brass. Finishes include anodizing, zinc-nickel plating and passivation. We can issue EN 10204 3.1 certificates, dimensional reports and PPAP submissions on request. See quality control.
How We Work With Your Team
Send the drawing set, annual volume and delivery schedule. We return a process route, a costed quotation and, where relevant, a suggestion to consolidate parts into a single kit. Repeat orders can be held against a blanket schedule with agreed safety stock, which shortens effective lead time without changing the unit price.
Sourcing Questions for Automotive & EV
Do you support PPAP submissions?
Yes, PPAP documentation can be prepared for automotive and safety-related parts. State the required level in the RFQ.
Can you machine prototypes before tooling is released?
Yes. Billet-machined prototypes allow design changes without tooling cost, then the design can be migrated to casting or forging.
How is revision control handled?
Production follows the approved drawing revision; any material, finish or process change requires a new approval before release.
Ready to source custom metal parts?
Send your drawing or sample. Engineering review and quotation within 24 hours.
