Brass Precision Fittings — Manufacturer & Exporter
Leak-tight threaded components in brass and copper, produced with controlled thread gauging and pressure testing.
We manufacture brass precision fittings for plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic and instrumentation systems: compression fittings, hose barb connectors, nipples, adapters, valve bodies, manifolds and custom turned components. Parts are produced by CNC turning from extruded brass bar or by hot forging followed by machining, depending on geometry and volume.
Thread standard is the detail that causes the most rework in this category. BSP (G / R, ISO 228 / ISO 7-1), NPT (ANSI B1.20.1) and metric threads look similar but do not seal against each other. State the standard and sealing method — taper thread, parallel thread with washer, or O-ring — on the drawing. We gauge every thread with the corresponding go/no-go plug and ring gauges.
For potable-water markets we can supply low-lead brass and provide composition declarations; for marine or aggressive media, dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass is available.

Ordering Notes
- Always state the thread standard and whether sealing is on the thread or on a seat / O-ring.
- For potable water, specify the lead-content requirement for your destination market.
- Forged bodies are stronger and cheaper at volume; turned bodies are faster for low volumes.
- If the fitting mates with an existing assembly, sending a mating sample avoids gauge mismatch.
Typical Applications
Plumbing and heating installations, compressed-air lines, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, instrumentation and gauge connections, irrigation systems, and marine fluid systems.
Manufacturing Process
Bar-fed CNC lathes produce turned fittings with live-tooled cross holes and flats; forged blanks are used where the shape needs higher strength or lower material waste. After deburring and cleaning, threads are gauged 100% and a sample from each lot is pressure tested. Parts are individually protected to prevent thread damage in transit.
Quality & Documentation
Thread go/no-go gauging is recorded per lot, with hydrostatic or air-decay test results for sealing parts. Material composition certificates are issued per heat. See quality control.
Questions Buyers Ask About Brass Precision Fittings
Do BSP and NPT threads interchange?
No. BSP and NPT have different thread angles and pitch forms; they may start to screw together but will not seal. Always specify the standard.
Can you supply lead-free brass?
Yes, low-lead and DZR grades are available — state the market requirement and we will quote the appropriate alloy.
Do you pressure test every fitting?
Threads are gauged 100%; pressure testing is performed on a statistical sample or 100% when the application requires it.
What is the MOQ for a custom fitting?
Usually 500 pcs, lower for a first trial batch.
