Sheet Metal Fabrication — Manufacturer & Exporter

From a flat DXF to a finished, coated and assembled enclosure — one supplier for cutting, bending, welding and finishing.

Category: Products · Updated 2026-11-07 · BOXSTK engineering desk

BOXSTK Industrial fabricates custom sheet metal parts for equipment enclosures, control cabinets, machine guards, brackets, panels and welded frames. Fiber laser cutting handles contours and holes without hard tooling, CNC press brakes form repeatable bends, and TIG / MIG welding produces assemblies that are ground, coated and inspected as a complete unit.

The most common avoidable cost in sheet metal is a bend radius or flange dimension that does not match the material thickness. Our engineers review the flat pattern against the formed drawing and return DFM notes before cutting, including K-factor assumptions, minimum flange lengths and hole-to-bend clearances. This is especially important for buyers sending a 3D model without an unfolded flat pattern.

We supply both bare parts and fully assembled enclosures with hinges, locks, cable glands, fasteners and silk-screened labels, packed as one kit.

What to Include in Your File Set

  • A 3D model of the formed part plus a DXF flat pattern, or authorise us to unfold it.
  • Material grade and thickness — these determine bend allowance and minimum flange length.
  • RAL colour and gloss level, plus whether edges need to be masked or earthed.
  • Hole positions relative to bends; holes too close to a bend line deform.
  • IP rating or sealing requirement if the enclosure is for outdoor or washdown use.

Typical Applications

Electrical and control cabinets, machine guards and covers, server and telecom enclosures, HVAC panels, conveyor frames, storage and display units, and protective housings for outdoor equipment.

Manufacturing Process

Nested programs are cut on a fiber laser, deburred, then formed on CNC press brakes with the approved bend sequence. Welded assemblies are fixtured to control distortion, ground, pretreated and powder coated. Final inspection checks overall dimensions, flatness, coating thickness and fit of doors or hardware.

Quality & Documentation

Coating thickness is measured with a gauge, and a cross-hatch adhesion test is used on request. Assembly drawings and packing lists accompany multi-part kits. See quality control.

FAQ

Questions Buyers Ask About Sheet Metal Fabrication

Do you work from a 3D model only?

Yes. We can generate the flat pattern, but we will send it back for approval so the bend allowance matches your intent.

Can you supply assembled enclosures with hardware?

Yes — hinges, locks, glands, gaskets and labels can be fitted and the kit shipped as one part number.

What RAL colours do you offer?

Standard RAL powder coat colours are available; custom colours need a small batch surcharge and a longer lead time.

What is the MOQ?

10 pcs for production; 1–5 prototypes are accepted for design validation.

Ready to source custom metal parts?
