Manufacturing Capabilities

One engineering team across five process families, so mixed-process parts do not need five purchase orders.

Updated 2026-11-07 · BOXSTK engineering desk

Most sourcing problems with custom metal parts come from handing a design to a supplier who only owns one process. A cast housing that also needs precision bores gets subcontracted; a fabricated frame that needs hardened pins gets another vendor; three suppliers produce three different interpretations of the same tolerance.

BOXSTK Industrial coordinates machining, casting, forging, sheet-metal fabrication and fastener supply under one roof and one inspection system. That means one drawing review, one quotation, one first-article sample and one shipment.

Process Overview

CNC machining3/4/5-axis milling, turning with live tooling, ±0.01 mm on critical features, up to 800 × 500 × 400 mm
Investment castingSilica sol and water glass shell, 0.1–50 kg, carbon / stainless / alloy steel
ForgingHot die, open-die and ring rolling, Ø10–400 mm, 0.2–200 kg
Sheet metalFiber laser 1500 × 3000 mm, CNC bending, TIG / MIG welding, powder coating
FastenersDIN / ANSI / JIS / GB, A2-70 / A4-80, carbon grades 8.8–12.9
FinishingAnodizing, plating, passivation, powder coating, heat treatment, shot blasting
AssemblyKitting, hardware fitting, labelling, export packing

Design for Manufacturability Review

Every RFQ passes an engineering review before a price is issued. We check tolerance necessity, material availability, draft angles and wall sections for castings, bend radii for sheet metal, thread standards, and finish build-up on dimensioned features. Where a small drawing change would cut cost or lead time, we say so and quote both options.

Tip: including quantity bands (for example 100 / 500 / 2,000 pcs) in your RFQ lets us quote the price break where tooling or setup is amortised. See the RFQ checklist.

Standard Production Flow

  1. Drawing review and process routing
  2. Quotation with cost breakdown and lead time
  3. Tooling or programming; first-article sample
  4. Customer approval and production release
  5. In-process inspection and final dimensional report
  6. Finishing, assembly, export packing and shipping

Documentation Available

First-article inspection reports, dimensional reports, EN 10204 3.1 material certificates, hardness and tensile test results, coating thickness reports, RoHS declarations and PPAP documentation on request. All certificates are issued against the actual production lot, not a generic template. Full detail is on our quality control page.
